Navarre’s softball team took a big step forward Friday night, winning a tightly contested district game against Crestview.
It was only the third win for the Raiders (3-11 overall, 2-3 district), but it was a big one.
“It was nice for them to win a close game,” Navarre head coach Kim Smith said before practice Monday afternoon. “We haven’t been able to do that this year. It was great seeing the team pull together and find a way to win. It gave us a lot of confidence.”
