Manager cites increased costs for moving BooFest

After spending $90,000 to improve accommodations for BooFest, the Holley-Navarre Water System will no longer host the annual event.

According to Boo Weekley’s manager, Toggy Pace, the club wanted to charge the PGA golfer and Santa Rosa native $5,000 per day for each of the five days he uses the property to host BooFest, his signature annual celebrity charity tournament and concert, featuring big name stars such as Larry the Cable Guy and country singer Gary Allan.

As a result of the increased cost, BooFest organizers priced other venues, which welcomed the event with open arms – and much lower prices.
