Hard freeze warning but normal school hours Jan. 8

Santa Rosa County Superintendent of Schools Tim Wyrosdick says despite a hard freeze warning issued by the National Weather Service for our area from midnight until 10 a.m. tomorrow, schools will follow normal schedules for start and dismissal times.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the low 20s with wind gusts up to 40 mph. Subsequently, Wyrosdick points out the schools will limit outdoor activity, and he asks everyone to “bundle up.”
