Man charged in hit and run to appear in court next week

MosesThe Navarre man facing a felony charge in connection to a fatal hit and run last month, is scheduled to be arraigned in First Circuit Court for Santa Rosa County on Dec. 23.

Gregory Antonio Moses Jr., 23, of the 2400 block of Panhandle Trail, was arrested on felony charges Tuesday, Nov. 25, for leaving the scene of a crash involving death.

According to police, Moses was driving a white Toyota Highlander northbound on Panhandle Trail at around 6:30 a.m. Nov. 23 when he veered off the road and onto the west shoulder hitting 32-year-old Elizabeth Ruhland.
