While many places across the state will be closed for the fall holiday, most of the 171 Florida state parks and trails will be open normal hours of 8 a.m. to sunset on Thursday, Nov. 27.
“This holiday, we hope you take time to enjoy our state parks and trails,” Florida Park Service Director Donald Forgione said. “State parks can be a great way to compliment your day. Bring visitors and family members to hike, bike or swim while enjoying the beautiful Florida scenery.”
Florida has 171 state parks and trails that offer a variety of activities including camping, biking, swimming, hiking and fishing.
