Firefighters battle holiday blazes

Several south end fires represent candles that have now been extinguished in Santa Rosa County’s Emergency service agencies’ “Keep Your Holidays Bright” campaign.

This is the sixth year that Santa Rosa County emergency services have teamed up to promote fire safety during the month of December.

Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire in the 8400 block of Sevilla Street in Navarre about 6 a.m. Dec. 26.
