Woodlawn Beach Middle ‘Crashes’ robotics competition

Woodlawn robotCrash can save chickens. Crash can open gates. Crash can carry out a lot of functions actually. Hopefully, in December, Crash can build a wind turbine.

Perhaps that’s why Crash won first place last month at the 2014 BEST (Boosting Engineering Science and
Technology) Robotics competition held at University of West Florida. The Woodlawn Beach Middle School Robotics Club and its robot, Crash, beat out 13 local teams at the event.
