How tough was your last job interview? Holley Navarre Fire District put seven candidates through a rigorous interview process last month that included an agility test, immediately followed by a board-style interview. Firefighters showed up early Sept. 22 to Station 45 to test their mental and physical faculties in order to compete for one part-time and one full-time position.
The agility test applicants underwent was comprised of six stations that mimic tasks performed by firefighters. The test was timed and applicants were to finish in less than eight minutes. Firefighters said the test is notoriously difficult.
