Dual enrollment up, costs to Santa Rosa and Escambia county districts down

More area students are participating in dual enrollment classes, but the Santa Rosa and Escambia County School Districts are getting a break on the cost, thanks to an agreement with Pensacola State College (PSC).

A new agreement with PSC, has generated savings for the local districts. According to Buddy Hinote, Director of High School Education for Santa Rosa County Schools, PSC has agreed to reimburse the district for 30 percent of the $71.09 per credit hour tuition cost.
