Plan released for Gulf Islands

DSC_1045If a a plan released July 16 is approved, then changes could be on the way for Gulf Islands National Seashore (GINS) including the Naval Live Oaks, Santa Rosa and Fort Pickens Areas.

GINS Deputy Superintendent Steve McCoy said the preferred alternative would focus on expanding educational and recreational opportunities for people of all ages, as well as protecting the environment.
