Sobriety Checkpoint July 4

Florida_Highway_Patrol_logo_(emblem)The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has announced that a Roadside Sobriety Safety Checkpoint will take place on US 90, west of Avalon Boulevard in Santa Rosa County. It will begin at 9:30 p.m., July 4 and continue through 1:30 a.m., July 5.

During the operation, vehicles will be stopped to check for driver impairment and other violations of Florida law. FHP encourages motorists not to drink and drive but instead to select a designated driver if plans include alcohol.
