The Mary Esther man charged with DUI manslaughter stemming from a fatal one-car crash on Highway 98 March 25 is pleading not guilty to the charge.
According to Okaloosa County court records, 28-year-old Sean Ryan Gallagher waived his right to an arraignment April 7 and his attorney Thomas Lupella entered a written plea of not guilty to the charge.
Gallagher was the driver of the car that wrecked at about 4 a.m., March 25 just east of the Santa Rosa-Okaloosa county line. A passenger in the vehicle, 27-year-old Duloris Marie Gonzalez from Mary Esther, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
