NHS track teams finish 5 and 7 at Andrews Invitational

DSC_8185Strong performances in the hurdles and jumping events secured the Lady Raiders track team 42 points and a fifth place finish in the Andrews Invitational, April 4 in Gulf Breeze. The Raiders boys track team finished seven with 32.5 points and were led by a first place finish for Roman Spear in the Pole Vault and a second place finish by Christian Gill in the Shot Put.

Navarre Lady Raiders finished one point behind the host team, Gulf Breeze, in fourth. Pine Forest dominated the meet with 110 points, more than twice as many as second place Choctaw. Hannah Gullickson was the Lady Raiders top point winner finishing second in the 300 Meter Hurdles and fifth in the 100 Meter Hurdles.

Pine Forest dominated the boy’s team scoring with 113.50 points. Choctaw finished a distant second with 42.50.
