A couple from Fort Walton Beach was charged April 1 for neglect of their three children, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Officers arrested Anthony Sosebee, 26, and his girlfriend Amanda Kaye Clayton, 24, after they found three children in their dirty home on Colton Way with no running water and evidence of drug use, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office news release.
After an anonymous complaint with the Department of Children and Families, deputies discovered the children to be dirty and the home had very little food in the house. They also discovered marijuana and a methamphetamine pipe in the home.
Sosebee was charged with two counts of child neglect, one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Clayton was charged with two counts of child neglect.
