Not Quite Fab celebrates Fab Four’s U.S. Arrival

Beatles-on-TVA British band from Liverpool created a firestorm when they landed in New York Feb. 7, 1964 and two days later made their first U.S. television appearance performing live on The Ed Sullivan Show.  A record-setting 73 million people were watching as “Beatlemania” was born in the U.S.  Fifty years later, The Beatles are one of the most iconic best-selling bands in music history.

The 50th Anniversary of the “British Invasion” will be celebrated in Navarre when Not Quite Fab, the local favorite Beatles tribute band, takes the stage at the Days Inn and Suites Navarre Conference Center Saturday, Feb. 8 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.  Not Quite Fab is known throughout the area for their renditions of Beatles’ songs like “Help!,” “Let it Be” and “Hey Jude.”
