Navarre Beach contributes to record year for turtle nests

WEB-TurtleNavarre Beach played a role in what Florida wildlife officials are calling a record year for sea turtle nests.

Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center director Cathy Holmes calls the nesting season “about average,” with 12 nests on the four-and-a-half miles of beach comprising the Navarre Beach nesting area.
